This single-day overview course packs a lot of learning into one day. It is a hands on introduction to bushcraft skills including Knife and Folding Saw, Shelter, Fire Skills- including an intro to friction fire, basic knots, and hydration. It is a fast paced intro to the practical application of bushcraft skills you may not have tried before and a great first step into the world of needing less to do more outdoors.
Participants will need to bring their own lunch water bottle and camp chair. All classess are held either in our covered open air classroom or on the land. Sunscreen, bug spray and closed toed shoes are suggested. If you already own a fixed-blade bushcraft knife or folding saw feel free to bring your own. Suggested knives and saws are available to purchase from our store.
Water and bathrooms are available.
